Hi Anne-Marie,

I've had painful elbows, but always from the elbow down, not upwards, so can only suggest you see your GP as it's gone on for so long, especially if it is getting worse.
Have you tried heat on it?
Hope you get some help soon.

Love Doreen xx

Hi Anne-Marie

I have sore elbows but they are not painful now. I used to have very painful elbows and I had them both injected about 2 years ago. They have been much better since so I would advise making an appointment to see rheummy nurse and ask for injections. I know it sounds painful but honestly, I didn't find them too bad. What's a few seconds compared to weeks, months etc.

Ha ha I think you know me Sheila, as contacted rheumy nurse a couple days ago to complain that my appointment was changed yet again 3rd time, she said she would talk to consultants secretary and ask her not to change again, she asked how i was and i told her about pain etc, she asked if i wanted to come for jab , no way Scared was my reply, HOW DID YOU KNOW? i am so sick of the jab pain, i am trying to ride it out lol its the numbness that was worring me.

Doreen, I have been using hot/cold packs, a hot bath helps, but cant stay there all day. wish i could lol.

I may have to give in and have the jabs.

take care girls, and thank you.

Anne-marie
